Jayita Deodhar

Jayita Deodhar is a Psycho-oncologist and Palliative Medicine Physician. Having trained in both India and United Kingdom, she currently leads the departments of both Palliative Medicine and Psycho-oncology in Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, a 640-bedded premier cancer institute in India. Conducting psycho-social interventions and palliative care integration has made her mindful of the intricacies of diverse contexts and challenges for psycho-oncology service delivery and research in the LMIC settings. She has served on the IPOS Board of Directors and chairs the LMIC committee and co-chairs the Fundraising Committee.
